Photography, writing, video, performance and falling chair. People have yelled these words to me while in the process of doing them since the early 2000's and I've always assumed they were shouted in a positive light.
My work experience has involved coverage shot at Westminister Dog Show, Gratitude Migration, Madison Square Garden, Terminal 5, Webster Hall, Warped Tour, Gartitude Migration and Bonaroo. Not to mention a church, outside on the boardwalk of Coney Island and in the midst of a outdoor NERF war.
I've been published in Variety, Brooklyn Mag, Forbes and Time Out! I've shot for BTSPress, Pancakes and Whiskey and staff photography for Magfest; the largest video game-inspired music festival in the US.
I've covered ANONYNOUS protests against Scientology to one man's protest against public indecency laws. I've talked business while shooting portraits of Dick Zigun, founder of the Mermaid parade all the way to Matthew Silver, who liked to talk more about hugs and farts and I've barely scratched the surface of the world that is NYC.
I seek to work with people dedicated and serious about their passions, crafting my work into a powerful representation of their art, their music and their lives. It is not a matter of asking am I right for your project or need, but simply realizing on focusing more on what we can create together.
